<br />
It's been a long time since I posted something. But this truly deserves one.<br />
<br />
I came across a mysterious person that likes to be called "The Pet Whisperer".<br />
<br />
The Pet whisperer is someone who tries to foresee your new pet's talent pool. And I must say it's pretty good. So if you are tired leveling pets you don't know are worth leveling, check the blog at:<br />
<br />
<a href="http://petwhispering101.blogspot.be/">petwhispering101.blogspot.com</a><br />
<br />
Submitting info is very easy and well explained. And results are promising.<br />
<br />
So I suggest you try it, and if you like it share it with friends!<br />
<br />
That's all for today,<br />

<br />
I have started playing Wizard101 again. It seems the game keeps attracting me.<br />
<br />
Last time I played I got to the end of Zafaria. Today I needed to finish the "Mirror lake" dungeon. But sadly had no friends around to run it with me.<br />
<br />
So I decided to go solo; Against all odds!<br />
<br />
"I walked to the entrance of the dungeon, carefully positioned myself on the sigil, and in the next 10 seconds or so I was pulled into a whirlpool. I slowly got a grip again, and found myself underneath a lake.<br />
<br />
I eventually gained my sight back and saw a very familiar silhouette. In a blink I of an eye I was face to face with Morganthe. Evil-doer extraordinaire!<br />
<br />
I quickly grabbed my staff, put my wizard hat back on, and walked forward. I told her: "I refuse to accept the dark side, I will defend everything I believe in". Morganthe sighs, and calls forward one of her most loyal minions, Tse-Tse Snaketail.<br />
<br />
<b><u>First Battle - Tse-Tse Snaketail:</u></b><br />
<br />
This first battle isn't that hard at all, just a storm boss (7095 hp) and his death minion (2905 hp).<br />
<br />
I used a varied myth deck, a life amulet, ww robe, ww hat, and baconator boots. I added quite a lot of healing spells, but in the end I didn't need that much healing. The fight went very smooth.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Second battle - Spectral bosses:</u></b><br />
<b><u><br /></u></b>
This battle was more of challenge, You encounter 4 bosses (Myth, Fire, Ice, Sun).<br />
<br />
These bosses can cheat. The elephant casts a tower shield (90%) on the first turn and keeps replacing it when he receives damage. Secondly he marks someone as a target, If that person does not cast a charm in time the next spells will be cast:<br />
<br />
- Gorilla uses smoke screen<br />
- Lion uses orthrus<br />
- Zebra uses super blizzard<br />
- The Elephant removes the mark and every other shield on the marked target<br />
<br />
When you defeat the Gorilla, Lion and zebra, the mark from the elephant will have no consequences, he will start using a 'cheat'-scarecrow at the beginning of every third turn.<br />
<br />
My strategy here was:<br />
- Use sanctuary TC, as far as I know they heal almost never, and I haven't seen them cast any bubble spell too.<br />
- Use of Talos minion to attract aggro, effectively splitting damage done between him and my wizard.<br />
- I killed the 3 spectral minions first, and had no problems defending myself to the 'cheat'-scarecrow<br />
- I used a life amulet and trained life as second school until Satyr.<br />
<br />
This fight was long, but certainly not the hardest for me in this dungeon.<br />
<br />
<u><b>Third Battle - Goliath bruisers:</b></u><br />
<u><b><br /></b></u>
This battle took me 2 tries.<br />
<br />
You encounter 4 ice 'bosses', although they have generic names, they still have almost 8k hp, cast towers a lot and can stun you.<br />
<br />
They do not cheat at all.<br />
<br />
My strategy:<br />
- Use of sanctuary TC again, as they also don't heal, and I have not seen them casting bubbles.<br />
- A lot of healing cards are needed also.<br />
- Use of Talos for dividing aggro and removing tower shields.<br />
- Use of earthquake to nullify their buffs.<br />
<br />
This was a long battle for me. Their damage output wasn't that big, but they are very sturdy.<br />
<br />
Just keep on defense when they have a lot of pips. Attack when you are safe (health wise) and they have low pips. It might take a while to go on offense.<br />
<br />
<u><b>Fourth and final battle - Stardust spider:</b></u><br />
<u><b><br /></b></u>
This was by far the most difficult fight to solo for me, taking over 5 tries.<br />
<br />
You encounter 4 storm 'bosses', around 7k hp each.<br />
<br />
No cheats here either, just raw storm power :)<br />
<br />
My strategy:<br />
- Use of plague and virulent plague to reduce output of storm damage taken by me.<br />
- Use of specific gear bought to increase my Storm resistance from 48 to 60.<br />
- I used sanctuary, but they may cast storm bubble<br />
- Use of many shields<br />
<br />
This final battle really let me explore different ways of dealing with so much damage.<br />
<br />
But as they all start with about 6-8 pips, have almost nothing except damage spells, I tried to use plague first turn, as that was the moment I received the most damage.<br />
<br />
Keep on defense until you are safe and have a pip advantage. Try summoning talos when possible, I don't recommend many other minions as tempest is almost spammed.<br />
<br />
The fight will be long, don't rush attacks when you are not safe.<br />
<br />
You have to be a bit lucky with the wild bolt spam :p<br />
<br />
Finally I was there at the end of Mirror Lake, Proud as heck :)<br />
<br />
This dungeon took me 5-6 hours to complete solo, including mana and health refills, and shopping for storm resist gear.<br />
<br />
I hope this ecourages others to not give up when you got a challenge, there's almost always a way!<br />
<br />
Take care everyone,<br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Wolf Tamer is ready to bring you a new blog post.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This time I'm going to talk about Ymir.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiH6mNy5pIX5EI-eD9pfDEt6i7cUxICOWdENgYR9Ijwcvg5SsaPSVZV5JyVDJR3kxjdPk1fENCDZs25TF8UiUqHSLPnNbnOc3I2RasP6_Hcl79qSYtAhQE7Y276TCHaW0QEGHOlbeVDdz8/s1600/Ymir.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="296" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiH6mNy5pIX5EI-eD9pfDEt6i7cUxICOWdENgYR9Ijwcvg5SsaPSVZV5JyVDJR3kxjdPk1fENCDZs25TF8UiUqHSLPnNbnOc3I2RasP6_Hcl79qSYtAhQE7Y276TCHaW0QEGHOlbeVDdz8/s400/Ymir.png" width="400" /></a></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">1) <u>Who is Ymir</u>?</span><br />
<br />
<ul><li><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> Ice wizards and wizardesses (yes I don't call them witches, and neither should you!) Have met this Frost giant before. He appears at the quest <a href="http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Quest:Horn_of_Winter">Horn of winter</a>. I believe this is the quests that awards you with your own little Ice collosus!</span></li>
<li><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Later in the game, in the area of Wintertusk you encounter him again, at the end of nastrond.</span></li>
</ul><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This made me curious if he was related to some real life lore. And when I'm curious I HAVE to find out more about the subject.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">2) <u>Ymir related to norse mythology</u>.</span><br />
<br />
<ul><li><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Ymir (wich means: twin) also known as 'Aurgelmir' (which means gravel-yeller in old norse) is the founder of the race of Frost Giants.</span></li>
<li><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The oldest off all beings arose from melting of the ancient Glacial in the icy Elivàgar, because of his old age he is also known as 'The wise'</span></li>
</ul><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">3) <u>Ymir shaping the world</u>. </span><br />
<br />
<ul><li><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">In the following translated poem you find the Norse account of the creation of the present:</span></li>

I don't want to freeze in this cage!"</span></div><br />
Hello everyone, I'm here again for another blog post!<br />
<br />
<u><b>Hrothgar - 'The caged King'</b></u><br />
<u><b><br />
</b></u><br />
Hrothgar is an NPC (non player character) in Wizard101. He gives the quest <a href="http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Quest:Black_Feathers">'Black feathers'</a>. Where you must seek out Kormak, defeat him and release Hrothgar afterwards.<br />
<br />
Well, Hrothgar is also the King that requested Beowulf's help to defeat his <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grendel">Grendel</a> (A mythical monster in the Norse lore). I'm sure you saw some hopping around in your adventures through Grizzleheim!<br />
<br />
Let's analyze Kormak some more, I strongly think that Kormak comes from '<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cormac">Corma</a>c'.<br />
<br />
Cormak is a male name, the name is ancient in the in the Irish 'Gaelic' language. (see '<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaels">Gaels</a>').<br />
<br />
The name consists out of two parts; Cor / Mac<br />
<br />
Mac is Old Gaelic for "Son of" and can be used as either a prefix or a suffix.<br />
Cor is more debated about, but it can mean, Raven, in old Gaelic. This is quite interesting cause the 'Monster' you have to defeat to free Hrothgar IS a Raven (or at least a bird like character).<br />
<br />
After defeating 'Kormak' you are able to uncage 'King Hrothgar'. Just like Beowulf liberated King Hrothgar in the legend...<br />
<br />
Now here's the thing, I can find no trace from Beowulf himself throughout Grizzleheim.<br />
<br />
I was wondering, ..., Are WE, the Wizards the Beowulf of this game? :)<br />
<br />
Thats all, Hope you like it :), take care everyone<br />

<br />
Today I'm glad to announce another post about grizzleheim. This area's lore has totally took me by surprise. I like walking around and figuring out how to transliterate the runes. People loved to hear me talk about them.<br />
<br />
Well this post is a little different, but I'll try to link some of the Grizzleheim's lore with 'Beowulf'<br />
<br />
Who or what is Beowolf you would ask yourself. Beowulf is both a Poem and a mythical Nordic Hero. You can find the whole poem here: <span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 17px;"><i></i></span><a href="http://www.humanities.mcmaster.ca/~beowulf/main.html">http://www.humanities.mcmaster.ca/~beowulf/main.html</a> (both in old and modern English).<br />
<br />
If you don't like reading poems, There are a couple of movies made about the legend of Beowulf.<br />
I can recommend this one: <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0442933/">http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0442933/</a><br />
<br />
The first thing I noticed about Beowulf relating with Grizzleheim was due to a nice comment from one of my followers: <span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 18px;"><a href="http://www.blogger.com/profile/09121920545518030625" rel="nofollow" style="color: blue; text-decoration: none;">The Fabulous K</a></span><br />
<br />
Most of the credits for this discovery go to him, Thanks wizard!<br />
<br />
In my Blog Post about the translations in Nidavellir i translated 2 sentences on the ground:<br />
<br />
On the arc was written:<br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;">"There do I see the line of my people calling to me, they bid me to take my place among."</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;"><br />
</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;">And on the straight line:</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;">"Among them in the halls of Vahallaz (Walhalla?) here the brave shall rest forever in time."</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;">Now I want to talk about a movie called "The 13th warrior", it is based on the novel 'Eaters of the dead'</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;">That novel was based on the Poem 'Beowulf'.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;">Now I want to show you a clip from that movie, be prepared to be surprised :)</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;"><br />
</span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/2La02ffmsYM?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;"><br />
</span></span><br />
It seems like I was quite close with the translations, I'm happy for that. I will of course further investigate links between both 'Lore'.<br />
<br />
That's it, Take care everyone<br />

<br />
It's been a long time ago, I didn't had much time to play the last months.<br />
And what better way to come back to the game with a new blog post :).<br />
<br />
<b>Let me first explain what this post is about.</b><br />
<br />
I will try and put the knowledge of Sun-Tzu's '<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Art_of_War">The art of war</a>' into a Wizard101 environment.<br />
<br />
Sun-Tzu was an ancient Chinese military general, strategist and philosopher who is traditionally believed, and who is most likely, to have authored 'The art of war', an influential ancient Chinese book on military strategy. (from wikipedia)<br />
<br />
You can find the whole English translation of the book to read online in this link: <a href="http://www.chinapage.com/sunzi-e.html">http://www.chinapage.com/sunzi-e.html</a><br />
<br />
This post will contain 'The art of war' first chapter, I will try to do them all eventually :).<br />
<br />
<b><u>Chapter One</u></b> -<b><u>Laying plans:</u></b><br />
<br />
1)<br />
War is all around the spiral, You'll either be fighting off monsters, bosses or<br />
<br />
even other wizards, It is important to understand you need to farm that gold, get those items, or feel the rush of a victory in the arena. This makes war a vital<br />
part of Wizard101.<br />
<br />
2)<br />
If you enter a battle in Wizard101, You'll either come out victorious or beaten.<br />
It is very important that you try what your wizard can and can't do, find out his<br />
or her limit. This way you will learn to predict battle outcomes before you even<br />
fought them.<br />
<br />
3)<br />
To predict these outcomes of fights a little easier there are five 'rules' you<br />
should follow.<br />
<br />
<br />
4)<br />
* 1) The Moral Law<br />
* 2) Heaven<br />
* 3) Earth<br />
* 4) The Commander<br />
* 5) Method and discipline<br />
<br />
5)<br />
The moral law represents the loyalty of friends who you battle with, they should<br />
be prepared to sacrifice themself for the greater good. As should you for them.<br />
When you reach this bond with your teammates, your party will not fear a thing!<br />
<br />
6)<br />
Heaven represents the circumstances you face in battle. Which bubble is active?<br />
what player or monsters is casting which spells? How can you change these<br />
circumstances in your favor? You should be asking these questions all the time as<br />
these circumstances keep changing every round.<br />
<br />
7)<br />
Earth represents danger and security, the chances to survive. You need to try and<br />
grasp the 'terrain' you are fighting. Can you attack but still survive? are you<br />
far enough ahead to go offensive? :)<br />
<br />
8)<br />
The Commander or in Wizard101 the leader of the party should have good wisdom of<br />
the game. Knowing when and which decisions to make. He must be friendly yet<br />
he must make his plans very clear. But most of all he should be able to adapt and<br />
accept input from his party.<br />
<br />
9)<br />
Method and discipline represents the ability of each party member to know its<br />
role in the party and trying to execute it in it's best abilities. Try to follow<br />
the leader (Commander) to execute the teams strategy. And most of all learn<br />
working as a team.<br />
<br />
10)<br />
These Five 'Rules' are of vital importance to every Wizard, Learn and practice<br />
them and you will be victorious! Neglect them and you will put yourself in<br />
danger!<br />
<br />
11)<br />
Therefore, In your decisions to determine the outcome of battles. Let them be<br />
made the basis of a comparison, in this wise:<br />
<br />
12)<br />
* (1) Which party leader is imbued with the moral law?<br />
* (2) Which party leader has the most skill?<br />
* (3) With whom lie the advantages derived from the 'Heaven' and 'Earth' rules?<br />
* (4) Which party follows orders well and who does this more meticulous?<br />
* (5) Which party is stronger (based on gear/level/pets and so on)?<br />
* (6) Which of the parties is the most experienced?<br />
* (7) Which party is more fair and rewarding to play in?<br />
<br />
13)<br />
By means of these seven considerations you can forecast victory or defeat!<br />
<br />
14)<br />
The leader that acts upon these Rules & considerations will conquer, let him or<br />
her be the one in command!<br />
<br />
15)<br />
If you understand what is told here, use it to gain a strategic advantage.<br />
<br />
16)<br />
With strategic advantage I mean get the best out of favorable circumstances and<br />
swing the battle in your favor.<br />
<br />
17)<br />
All warfare is based on deception. Try and be as deceptive as you can be in<br />
battle. It will add an extra difficulty for the team you are facing.<br />
<br />
18)<br />
So if you are able to attack, seem unable, when active; seem inactive, make him<br />
or her think you are going offensive when on defense and the other way around.<br />
<br />
19)<br />
If the enemies has an advantage try to bait him with it and crush them when they<br />
are in disorder.<br />
<br />
20)<br />
If the enemy is prepared, make sure you are prepared for him or her too. And if<br />
He's in superior strength, try and evade him or her.<br />
<br />
21)<br />
If your enemy is equipped for a long fight, try and wear him down slowly. Pretend<br />
to be weak, so that he or her may grow arrogant.<br />
<br />
22)<br />
If the enemy commander is at his or her ease. Try to disrupt and separate his<br />
team from achieving their strategy. (use of disruptive spells).<br />
<br />
23)<br />
Attack when your enemy is not prepared, try to strike where no enemy could<br />
expect it.<br />
<br />
24)<br />
These general 'Rules' lead you to victory. Make sure you keep adapting as the<br />
way to victory keeps changing.<br />
<br />
25)<br />
The Wizard who wins the battle makes many calculations before the battle is even<br />
fought.<br />
The Wizard that lost makes only FEW calculations beforehand.<br />
So, do many calculations to win, or neglect them and be defeated.<br />
It is by attention to this point that you can foresee battle outcomes!<br />
<br />
<br />
That's it for today, I know, it's a lot of reading. I do hope some of you enjoyed this post and learn to be a better Wizard in battle :).<br />
<br />
Take care everyone,<br />

<br />
Now that i have more knowledge about the Runes used all over GH, I managed to fix some translations that i did wrong in the past.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimxWICmtmPrKcm_By-mt6rYvDqRJvm8bU4vG733vlxzCV9HJGbjhIUvYXLGyxxtNtQbbswtFubrhCw0HLkjHsyAoeHURppInUBCeN2vq16I5tvCz4K6PgHzXq9BCbOqjBvKAZe_o1caaE/s1600/futhark+script.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimxWICmtmPrKcm_By-mt6rYvDqRJvm8bU4vG733vlxzCV9HJGbjhIUvYXLGyxxtNtQbbswtFubrhCw0HLkjHsyAoeHURppInUBCeN2vq16I5tvCz4K6PgHzXq9BCbOqjBvKAZe_o1caaE/s400/futhark+script.png" width="400" /></a></div><br />
The half circle contains two sentences:<br />
<br />
on the straight line it says:<br />
"Among them in the halls of Vahallaz (Walhalla?) here the brave shall rest forever in time."<br />
<br />
On the arc, it says the following:<br />
"There do I see the line of my people calling to me, they bid me to take my place among."<br />
<br />
I also translated the minor runestone housing item, but i've heard it was done before, here it is anyways:<br />
<br />
"Rhea<br />
Artie<br />
Jaeson<br />
Jamees"<br />
<br />
four names it seems.<br />
<br />
Thats all for now, keep looking for more anytime, and spread the word :)<br />
<br />
Take care wizards!<br />

<br />
I have been working on this for a long time now and came very close to the end. I'm trying to read the book that is displayed on the altar in MB church. I decided to post my findings here with missing words in the hope that together we will find them :)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">left page: (I know these are very vague)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsji2BE2JL_tCJN3_RUXrC-TvoHSvWhxXnL5zjHkyxa3Duslh86ynkBc3xXIMlSb4J79ujHS60BYmCwfIR1DUJfzVchf4CyWpZYfqp6agPa65QRIKIWKoBF05AiFkyoZ4M371yxfB8-bc/s1600/mb+church+book+left+page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsji2BE2JL_tCJN3_RUXrC-TvoHSvWhxXnL5zjHkyxa3Duslh86ynkBc3xXIMlSb4J79ujHS60BYmCwfIR1DUJfzVchf4CyWpZYfqp6agPa65QRIKIWKoBF05AiFkyoZ4M371yxfB8-bc/s400/mb+church+book+left+page.jpg" width="357" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">right page:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3JaNrvCuWhoaxLmQ23Jl0tZ7PYT_gRkMRi1yjUWHTcu26oSQqcS-yvwD-MyDlJ9YHHpURxJceP3we3cPYWDZotaVWpSUsMO4wsSKN0mHo-9twig24W61Roi9_oVb3XPYSu6GW0DVN3HI/s1600/MB+church+book+right+page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3JaNrvCuWhoaxLmQ23Jl0tZ7PYT_gRkMRi1yjUWHTcu26oSQqcS-yvwD-MyDlJ9YHHpURxJceP3we3cPYWDZotaVWpSUsMO4wsSKN0mHo-9twig24W61Roi9_oVb3XPYSu6GW0DVN3HI/s400/MB+church+book+right+page.jpg" width="353" /></a></div><br />
what i got so far, words between () are guessed based on context, every ... is a missing word.<br />
<br />
<u>Left page:</u><br />
<br />
Real wizards will tell you the tales<br />
of their adventures. Some may<br />
twist the truth of these tales to<br />
keep your attention. But do and<br />
tell the lessons in these stories (a lot). There<br />
will always be more to the story than you<br />
will see at the surface.<br />
<br />
Dragons to Griffons, all have tales of their<br />
parts. The greatest gesture in magic comes from<br />
these creatures and the lands that they made<br />
... . Study these creatures and the<br />
elements in the homelands to unlock the<br />
(long) words of magic we practice each<br />
day here in Wizard City.<br />
<br />
<u>Right Page:</u><br />
<u><br />
</u><br />
I hope that by the end of this book that not<br />
only (will you) be able (to do) the spells, but<br />
to understand the underlying magic that<br />
gives these spells life.<br />
<br />
To (memorize) sometimes and (recall) is one thing.<br />
To truly advance you must learn the (how)<br />
and (why) of what you are attempting.<br />
<br />
Just remember that you are ultimately<br />
responsible for every spell you cast. Both<br />
good and bad. To wizard ... ... are no<br />
(attribute/antidote). So be very careful when<br />
attempting (these) spells. Concentrate on your<br />
(end) (goal) and all will be as it should.<br />
<br />
Beautiful :)<br />
<br />
I hope i get lots of comments from you guys.<br />
<br />
I want to thank the following friends for their help:<br />
- Ronan Dawn<br />
- Kevin Battleblood<br />
- Fallon<br />
<br />
Take care everyone!<br />

<br />
I apologize for the lack of updates and new posts. I've been really busy in real life and can not play as much as I would have liked.<br />
<br />
But I have some new stuff for you, although they are small things, I'm pretty sure you like them.<br />
<br />
First, I had a glance at the wallpaper section, and in the Celestia wallpaper there is Celestian script. (under the word 'Celestia')<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPPzPm3BekvWuKnQfB_iv8gLJq51E47pW0LGhgUaZl6YXPjrR_D5Kh9-PYtDHyPet4tNjHKW4-jP5yX0MKG5rbSCCJqG6V7Nr4K0AABAUyyELSw4dKB7z062aIBC7YqAL3-ynisUkkGOY/s1600/Celestia1280_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPPzPm3BekvWuKnQfB_iv8gLJq51E47pW0LGhgUaZl6YXPjrR_D5Kh9-PYtDHyPet4tNjHKW4-jP5yX0MKG5rbSCCJqG6V7Nr4K0AABAUyyELSw4dKB7z062aIBC7YqAL3-ynisUkkGOY/s400/Celestia1280_1.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Translation: "Beneath the waves the stars still shine"<br />
</td></tr>
</tbody></table>This obviously makes sense now, Star is a new secondary school and the whole of Celestia is under the waves/water. What I was wondering about is when this wallpaper was published, maybe the hint was there all the time ;)<br />
<div><br />
Next i was walking around Celestia base camp and found a new friend:<div><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Meet Mr Pump...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9WpNmUfZ8t6KwMLGIbOj4tmLWdZDIiu1Hdx2wawxUlHkWVD4ieY3c5ztKqMk38AiB72_WXeM3IdlhTYfn80vv9zTIGZHJnYLrwhic8m-y7TogiWjjgcGzCQ9RvyuWPWV4wMKEuvCFyBg/s1600/Mr+pump.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="307" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9WpNmUfZ8t6KwMLGIbOj4tmLWdZDIiu1Hdx2wawxUlHkWVD4ieY3c5ztKqMk38AiB72_WXeM3IdlhTYfn80vv9zTIGZHJnYLrwhic8m-y7TogiWjjgcGzCQ9RvyuWPWV4wMKEuvCFyBg/s400/Mr+pump.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div><br />
</div><div>Or is it 'MB Pump CO.' - Marleybone Pump Cooperation? (just wild guesses here, please let your voice be heard in the comments)</div><div><br />
As you can see, not much new. But even little things mean something to me. In short: I'm glad to see so many fine details around the spiral. I hope you do too! :)<br />
<br />
Take Care,<br />

<br />
On my way throughout Celestia i came across a lot of things i wasn't able to figure out.<br />
<br />
One of these was 'Door number four' as i like to call it, and i will explain why :)<br />
<br />
As a wizard arrives in Celestia, the first area you go is the 'Survey Camp', Have you ever stopped and took a look at the symbol beside the Door to 'Survey Camp'?<br />
<br />
At first glance nothing special, not used in any old scripts i could find, but then i came up with something.<br />
Almost every door you can access in Celestia Base Camp has the same symbol on it, with a slight variation. There are dots in the middle of the symbol, which i believe to represent numbers, numbers which lay out a path a wizard takes in Celestia in chronological order (i hope i got that word right lol)<br />
<br />
For example, we start out at the 'Survey Camp', note the symbol on the door, (One dot, 'number one')<br />
First Zone In Celestia...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv5Vk-253dY8YD2CjgBc8q5fo84Mj5MocAi2tCepA4lkF8w2WDyj2xPte4NKYJ5Etd3N_JZv4205Bo3cknzk8XBaiNhvKSHWr6qOR3FeFOUOke6KDZqKDcwjCyrMbx5iW2g4gxgWwGy2M/s1600/1+door+survey+camp.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv5Vk-253dY8YD2CjgBc8q5fo84Mj5MocAi2tCepA4lkF8w2WDyj2xPte4NKYJ5Etd3N_JZv4205Bo3cknzk8XBaiNhvKSHWr6qOR3FeFOUOke6KDZqKDcwjCyrMbx5iW2g4gxgWwGy2M/s1600/1+door+survey+camp.jpg" /></a></div><br />
This goes on, Second Door, 'Science Center' (Two dots, 'number two')<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw8BkrlxxpY4OakpDJuuQU5eLcaOV1hneLX5YQtpBdF-QPk5FuEjJJK44UEj8T4KeX_ak6iNyXBePl7ADfahilw5D6jsHaEc3PGWiP_8U6sSuTnIp3Nkb0xaXwtj8iKn9_GWHG_m0wLwA/s1600/2+door+Science+center.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw8BkrlxxpY4OakpDJuuQU5eLcaOV1hneLX5YQtpBdF-QPk5FuEjJJK44UEj8T4KeX_ak6iNyXBePl7ADfahilw5D6jsHaEc3PGWiP_8U6sSuTnIp3Nkb0xaXwtj8iKn9_GWHG_m0wLwA/s1600/2+door+Science+center.jpg" /></a></div><br />
a third one, 'Crab empire' (three dots, 'number three')<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3vbm3XBkyk_Ht5RoIA1lnuI7BlOB68AO__z3wBCtgA2SbwBZWB2l3Eh-av02anEWrnKT4IHAbZa-l-Vy8nlfgx1hYUbJ4pfdaMpjkH42En_WQHzz2MDmpr0LJig2UHeRRKiBIFBu279g/s1600/3+door+Crab+Empire.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3vbm3XBkyk_Ht5RoIA1lnuI7BlOB68AO__z3wBCtgA2SbwBZWB2l3Eh-av02anEWrnKT4IHAbZa-l-Vy8nlfgx1hYUbJ4pfdaMpjkH42En_WQHzz2MDmpr0LJig2UHeRRKiBIFBu279g/s1600/3+door+Crab+Empire.jpg" /></a></div><br />
And where it gets very, very, interesting, Door Number Four, KingsIsle obviously planned for Wizards to take this door next, where does it lead, who is behind it, ..., So far, one can only guess, And I like you to put in the comments what you think is behind... Door number four!!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguyqGyPnkH5dvVdiLwcX-lYobzRmvMBO21hAzUtpqgTCD7fjiMqIdYdwVzcrUhFnCFe5lD9uKi3jd3qlrwhAclGlPAYBBM476m-SVUJ_U6dDKNGUVqZJWXN_h-AN9yb6Wz89w7581f04E/s1600/4+door+unknown.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguyqGyPnkH5dvVdiLwcX-lYobzRmvMBO21hAzUtpqgTCD7fjiMqIdYdwVzcrUhFnCFe5lD9uKi3jd3qlrwhAclGlPAYBBM476m-SVUJ_U6dDKNGUVqZJWXN_h-AN9yb6Wz89w7581f04E/s1600/4+door+unknown.jpg" /></a></div><br />
I hope you like this mystery, i sure do, i hope you guys leave lots of comments.<br />
<br />
'Till next time, take care!<br />

<br />
Today I decided to get deeper into the wizard101 storyline, more particular, '<i>The Krokonomicon</i>'.<br />
<br />
<u><b>Wiki on Wizard101 plot (SPOILERS!!!):</b></u><br />
<blockquote><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">The plot begins with several problems occurring throughout Wizard City, host to the Ravenwood school. The player must aid other wizards into completing dangerous missions. After defeating Lord Nightshade, a grim reaper-like spirit that is responsible for the undead attacks on Wizard City, the player gains access to the location of Krokotopia, where the Kroks, an ancient race that enslaved Krokotopia centuries ago, have reawakened from a deep sleep and are now attacking the current residents of Krokotopia. shortly after defeating the Krok Leaders, it is revealed that Malistaire wishes to obtain an ancient book of magic known as the "Krokonomicon" that can control the powers of Life and Death to use for unknown purposes (it is later revealed that it is to bring his deceased wife, Sylvia, back to life and to rule the Spiral with her). When the Krokonomicon is later transported to another world, Marleybone, the player follows the lead. The mayor of Marleybone doesn't allow you to take the Krokonomicon due to recent crimes, and the Krokonomicon is stolen by the master thief Meowiarty on behalf of Malistaire soon after. The player must find Meowiarty's lair, which is atop Big Ben. When Meowiarty is returned to prison, Malistaire conspires with demons in the land of MooShu to help him steal the key to the next world, Dragonspyre. The player is then led to battle the demons, who have poisoned the emperor. Once healed, the emperor informs the player that Malistaire has already left MooShu, setting the next movement of his evil plot into motion in Dragonspyre, an ancient world destroyed by a giant dragon. He dubs himself the "Necromaster," attempting to resurrect his wife using the Krokonomicon. When he is eventually defeated by the player, Malistaire and his wife finally gain peace. In Celestia, the most recent world, the player is on a quest to find the missing explorer.</span></blockquote><u><b>Origin of the Krokonomicon:</b></u><br />
<br />
After seeing a Southpark episode, yes southpark, i managed to find a link between 'Krokonomicon' and the 'Necronomicon', the names sound alike, and i can tell you what it means:<br />
<blockquote>'Necronomicon':</blockquote><blockquote>"an image of the law of the dead"</blockquote><blockquote>nekros - νεκρός ("dead"), nomos - νόμος ("law"), eikon - εικών("image").</blockquote>After i found that on the good old wiki, I came to the following conclusion, very simple :)<br />
<blockquote><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">"Krokonomicon":</span></blockquote><blockquote>"an image of the law of the Kroks"</blockquote>I think they mean, that this book is the Law of the ancient Kroks who controlled the powers of life and death.<br />
<br />

The following translation seem to use a slightly modified script than the one used before.<br />
<br />
it is called the 'Futhark' script, also known as A Runic Alphabet.<br />

I was able to use it to translate the white text on the half circle on the floor in Nidavellir main room:<br />
(i'm not 100% sure about these translation, I'm not a native English speaker)<br />

There are two sentences<br />
on the half circle bow:<br />
<br />
All they do is see the line of the portal falling to me, the commitment to take them the place among.<br />
<br />
on the line:<br />
<br />
Among the ninth halls of walhalla here the vow shall rest forever in time.<br />
<br />
Well, ...<br />
<br />
I hope you appreciate this.<br />

<br />
I started doing some research and found more people who where interested what they meant, if they meant anything at all.<br />
<br />
Since then I made it a personal hobby to research further into ancient scripts.<br />
<br />
Aided by my good friend, 'Ronan Dawn', we started to investigate Grizzleheim. Nidavellir in particular. Ever noticed those little markings on the floor ;)<br />
<br />
We made a lot of progress so far translating those Scripts, And yes, they DO mean something.<br />
<br />
I will keep you posted with the first translations soon.<br />
<br />
Greetings,<br />
